Is Tibbie Water & FPA responsible for leaks on my property?

No. Tibbie Water & FPA is not responsible for leaks on the customer’s property. Any leak from the meter to the residence is the responsibility of the owner or tenant to repair.

How can I check for leaks?

A leak detector dial is located on the face of the meter if no water is being used and the dial is spinning which indicates a possible leak. Toilets are usually the greatest loss of water. Place a few drops of food color in the tank of the toilet, allow 10-15 minutes to pass, and check the bowl for color. If the bowl has color, the flapper seal may be leaking and needs to be replaced.
